When I started out as an accountant learning the ropes and getting to understand the basics of taxation and business, I was already thinking to myself, ‘is this all there is?’. I was ambitious and wanted to work in more interesting areas and utilise my energy and skills to help people on a wider scale.

Band-aid solutions don't work. My advice for businesses that are struggling to reach your business goals is to take a personalised approach. Get comfortable with rolling up your sleeves and getting on the ground to really understand what's going on, with the business and with your clients.
Entrepreneurship is just doing what you're interested in
Having started a few businesses and having some level of success means people want to know how you did it. Some may want you to help them in their businesses, some ask for investment, and others want to know the secret sauce of your financial success. So I thought I would share a bit about my business life to see if it can help others out there with the same ambitions.
